Everett Refuse was founded in 1994 by the Johnson family—Tom and Linda Johnson—on a simple belief: take care of the neighborhood and the neighborhood will take care of you. What started with just one old Mack truck has grown into a fleet of four, with a nine-person team that includes three generations of Johnsons.

Tom ran the first routes himself, waking up at 4 a.m. rain or shine, often with his son Jake riding along after school. Today, Jake leads operations while his sister, Elise, manages customer service. Our drivers know the streets of Everett better than anyone, and we pride ourselves on a first-name-basis relationship with many of our customers.
